The food was excellent and the portions were massive. The lunch menu was incredible value for money. Service was fast, food was quick and arrived hot and fresh, staff were polite and helpful.

This place has a great wee buzz - really busy so book ahead! The fried chicken was unreal and the corn bread was such a nice edition. The food blew my socks off.

Came here on a works do before going to the darts. It was fantastic. I had the macaroni with jalapeno and burnt ends. Mama Mia was it good. Would love to come back and try other things on the menu. Would go back

Wandering round town looking for lunch. Walked into Maggie's New Orleans style cafe Chose the sausage and chicken gumbo and a cup of tea and a bottle of sparkling water. Place is bright and clean and airy. Lots of windows. Waitresses were friendly. Food was disappointing.Gumbo is supposed to be like stew. Their gumbo is like soup with rice and sausages and chicken floating in it I would have preferred more rice and a thicker sauce and less chilli Not sure why a slice of fruit cake was added Presentation was nice Blues music added atmosphere Maggie's is near Bar None and Mackies Ice Cream Parlour Paid 15 for gumbo a pot of tea and a sparkling water

Really nice chilled atmosphere, amazing service and delicious food. Can't wait to be back at this family owned restaurant! Our waitress Aurora was fantastic! Portions are huge and super tasty. Booking highly recommended.
